Here are some tips that you should follow for your accounting examination.
1) Please don't use any short words like COGS or Dep. Always use proper complete word.
2) Make sure each statement start with 3ws heading that is Whose, what and when. Example for income statement
3) when preparing any ledger accounts always show date particulars and amount correctly including carried down and next year b/f.
4) First Attempt the question u think u can best do it.
5) Always read the question clearly to understand what examiner actually requires.
6) Attempt each and every question and each and every part. In theoretical question try to answer accurately without hanky panky.
7) Try to use Reference to relevant Accounting concept and ratios in theoretical questions.
8) Question 3 is always 100% scoring question try not to panic.
9) neither the hard work nor the intelligence will matter in examination try to be a on the day performer, (smart operator)
10) you may think after looking at paper that u don't know anything remember it's just the dark side inside of you which is speaking. Remember you are the best.
11) Don't try to estimate the past paper pattern and never try to predict what's coming in the exam,you will be greatly shocked if things turn out to be strange.
12) don't let the tension, examination pressure and limitation of time come over u. Always adopt the approach to come over the paper.
13) Remember it is the 1st and the last time u appearing for As level paper there is no November after June.
14) Your last day best buddy is your Accounting register.
15) make sure u had a proper 8 hrs sleep before Accounting Paper.
